LOL    My brother and his wife are expecting and will have their little girl Candyce LeeAnn in August...I'm very excited about that as well, can't wait to spoil my little niece!   I know this is a short post, but if anyone is still out there reading and wants to know more, I will post the deets later.

  • Making an Appearance.

    Well hey there everyone!   Are you shocked? Huh, are ya?   I decided that I would put a post on here...and it is probably WAY overdue.  So, how is everyone?  I miss all my Xanga buddies!!!    I wonder if there is still anyone out there?    Karla...Cait...Sadie...Jeffrey...Dave...Daniel...ANYONE?!?!?!?!

    Life has been AWESOME since I posted on here last.  The Lord has truly blessed our family for following His will and going into missions.  The Lord has given us a beautiful house to live in, an awesome church that preaches the truth, and we already have about 20% of our support!  God is so good!!!  Ronnie and Jessica (my brother and sis-n-law) are doing great...the love being married, which is a really good thing...right!   I wish I could say the same for my sister, she moved out on her 18th birthday and she is out living the way she wants to...without the rules and restrictions that my parents had set out for us to live by.  So if you would please pray for Michelle, it would be greatly appreciated!

    About 4 weeks ago we got the news that my Mom's brother had been murdered.  That was a very hard thing to deal with, but God gave us grace in the midst of our storm and we got through it.   We just pray that the Lord uses this to reach my lost Grandparents.

    I have been on cloud nine spiritually for a couple of weeks now, God has just been SO good to me!  I have been in youth meeting after youth meeting and I have just gotten so much help from it all.  I went to a youth camp last week, and it was the best youth camp I have ever been to!  It was just AWESOME!

    Well...this post is long enough, so I will go ahead and shut up now.  LOL   Leave me some comments...if you read this far!! LOL

  • Everyone has died again!!!

    Where did everyone go??  Xanga is yet again vanishing from the journal world!  So...who is with me to bring it back again?  I'll do it if I have some help getting it done.  But until I can get some comments saying so...I will be doing the most part of my posting on my Blogger account.   So feel free to come by there and read my posts and comment...you don't have to have a account to comment.  SO COME ON OVER!!!

  • A Poem

    I got the thoughts for this poem after I found out that a very, very close friend of mine that is 17 years old moved out of his parents house. We have known him and his family since he was just 4 or 5. It was really shocking and heart breaking to hear about it. I am hearing a lot about teens that are moving out of their parents home because they want to do their own thing. It is just really sad.

    This poem is also written from some testimonies that I have heard from people after they got back home and straightened their lives out. This is really a warning to all teenagers and young people out there to stay right with God and make the right decisions.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    One by one they leave the nest
    But not by the parents are they blest
    They choose to leave and live their life
    Without the rules and "parental strife".
    "All of it's grand" they will say
    But down the road they'll dearly pay
    Doing their thing and having their way
    But judgments coming any day.
    They begin to notice the trouble their in
    They cry out to God "You win, you win"
    They come back home and get things right
    Now relieved from fighting the fight.
    Many years later they'll tell you the story
    Of leaving home and expecting all glory
    Only finding out what an end sin brings
    Having the fun and doing those things.
    But one thing they always say
    A life of sin never does pay
    So stay in the home and in the Bible stay strong
    That's the way that never goes wrong.
About Me
  • I was saved July 11th, 1994, and God had richly blessed me ever since. The Lord just recently called our family to be missionaries to the Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia Prisons. We are with the Highways & Hedges Prison Ministry. God has truly blessed us!!! I live with my Dad and Mom. I have an older brother that is married to a godly lady, and I have a younger sister that no longer lives at home. We are members of Harvest Baptist Tabernacle where Bro. Joe Arthur is the Pastor.
